Fruit smoothie - 5 mins
Blend any variety of frozen and fresh fruit (combine 2 frozen and 1 fresh minimum)

- strawberries
- blueberries
- mango
- banana
- pitted cherries
- peaches
Steel cut oatmeal - 45 mins
- Bring water or apple juice to a boil in medium pot
- add oatmeal
- turn heat down to low/simmer
- stir and cover
- watch oatmeal over next 30-45 minutes stirring and adding more water/apple juice
- continue to add liquid until oats will not absorb anymore or 45 mins have passes (will also work for rolled oats)
- turn heat off
- add a tablespoon or so of butter
- add 2 teaspoons or so of honey
- add fresh fruit - sliced strawberries or bananas, whole blueberries, whatever you want
- add nuts and yogurt
- stir and enjoy
Breakfast burrito platter
- Bake potato 350 for about 40 minutes, rotating once halfway through
- scramble 2-3 eggs
- cut green pepper, onion, broccoli, saute veggies with garlic, olive oil season well
- add fresh baby spinach and shredded red cabbage for a complete "rainbow" breakfast burrito platter
- Serve with salsa on the side
